Ready to start your knitting journey in a space designed for makers? Join us for a focused, hands-on session where we turn luxe yarn into your very first project. This workshop focuses on the 'knit stitch'—the essential building block for every dream garment you’ll eventually want to tackle. Our goal for this session is to get you into the flow and build your confidence. You may not bind off your project during class, but you will leave with the exact skills and step-by-step video resources needed to finish your coaster on your own. Want to finish with friends? Join us for a Fiber Club Thursday to finish your stitches and share the journey with fellow makers. What’s Included: - A knitting starter kit with a full 100g skein of premium alpaca-merino blend yarn, wood needles, stitch markers, yarn needle, and project bag. - Hands-on guidance to master the knit stitch. - Full access to the Sima Fiber Club online community and video tutorials. - Video tutorials to make a matching mug cozy - An open invitation to Fiber Club Thursdays to keep the momentum going. Thursday May 14, 5:30-6:30pm Stay on for Fiber Club Social Hour 6:30-8pm This knitting class is held at Create Cafe in San Clemente Register by May 2nd to choose your Artisan Palette yarn color. Later registrants will receive our luxe Signature Cream kits. This workshop is part of a three-project series designed to take you from your first stitches to your dream project. While each class can be taken individually, the series is curated to build your technical confidence and your handmade wardrobe through the spring and early summer. Next in the series: Join us for The Triangle Scarf to continue the progression. All members have access to our Thursday Social Hour at Create Cafe for ongoing project support and community.
