A 4-Week Garment Knitting Course Knit your first (or best yet) wearable top — with guidance every step of the way. Ready to move beyond accessories and into garments that actually fit and feel good to wear? In this 4-week course, we’ll knit The Sabai Top, a modern, top-down garment that builds confidence with lighter-weight yarns, refined shaping, and thoughtful construction. We’ll move slowly and intentionally, focusing on why things work — not just how — so you walk away with skills you can apply to future sweater and top projects. What You’ll Learn Over four guided sessions, you’ll gain hands-on experience with: - Top-down garment construction (no seaming!) - Working with smaller needles and thinner yarn - Make-1 increases - Left- and right-leaning - Worked from both the knit and purl side - Armhole shaping and clean transitions - How fiber and yarn choice affect drape, structure, and fit - Reading your fabric and making informed adjustments as you knit You’ll leave class not just with a beautiful top in progress — but with a deeper understanding of garment knitting as a whole. Support Beyond Class This course includes: - Access to the companion online course with step-by-step videos for each section - Ongoing support in our Fiber Club community, so you’re never stuck knitting alone - Troubleshooting, fit guidance, and encouragement between sessions Materials Yarn and tools are not included in the course price.
