This mini course is designed to gently level up your knitting skills while creating an absolutely adorable beanie you’ll be proud to wear (or gift). You’ll learn essential techniques including how to read a knitting pattern, the long-tail cast on, purl stitch and ribbing, knitting in the round using both circular and double-pointed needles, and simple decreases to shape the crown. The beanie pattern includes a kids size and features a super-stretchy fit—perfect for knitting one (or a few!) for the whole family. No prep required—just show up. All tools and materials are included in your take-home kit, featuring: - Luxurious 100% merino wool yarn - High-quality LYKKE wooden needles (both circular and double-pointed) - Stitch markers - Tapestry needle - A reusable project bag When: 2 sessions 1/22, 1/29, 5-6:30pm Where: Create Cafe in San Clemente (131 Ave. Del Mar)
