Ready to take your knitting skills to the next level? In this hands-on beginner course, you’ll learn how to knit a cozy, custom pair of socks from start to finish. We’ll guide you through each step—from mastering a stretchy cast-on and knitting in the round to turning the heel and shaping the toe. No experience with socks? No problem! This class breaks down the techniques into manageable chunks, ensuring you leave with a sense of accomplishment and a beautiful pair of socks. Perfect for those ready to explore the world of knitting beyond scarves and hats! Yarn and knitting pattern are included, knitting needles optional - see check-out options. We will be using high quality sock yarn made of superwash merino and nylon for durability. Includes 4 in-person sessions, 2 hours each, plus an online course platform with detailed video instruction and ability to ask questions and interact with fellow students and the teacher between classes. About your Instructor Cecilia brings a global perspective to her art and teaching. Growing up on the south coast of Sweden, she now flourishes in sunny Southern California with her husband, two cats and a Chiweenie. Cecilia is a lifelong creative spirit, always eager to learn new art/craft techniques. From garment sewing to knitting and jewelry making, her passion lies in handmade creations and artistic exploration. Her background infuses her work with a unique blend of Scandinavian heritage and Southern California vibes.
